Explain the entrance, steps and room layout first. We check access before agreeing on the job; a photo is useful if you want to show a tight route.
What should I tell you about exterior stairs?
Give the approximate step count and describe the path from parking to the door. Mention narrow passages or shared entrances so we can discuss access.
Can you include a hallway between rooms?
Yes. List it separately with an approximate length and width. Include connecting stairs and landings if you want those cleaned too.
What if the carpet is old but still usable?
We can clean suitable older carpet and try to improve stains. Worn edges, flattened fibres or permanent colour changes may remain. We assess the condition before starting.
When can carpeted stairs be used again?
They often need about four to eight hours to dry. If they are the only route between floors, tell us beforehand so we can discuss safe access and timing.
